Why this Matters
Many families find themselves caught between financial constraints and essential needs that government assistance programs simply don't cover. While public aid may help with housing, food, or medical expenses, it often overlooks everyday necessities like diapers, menstrual products, and incontinence supplies—items that are costly, consumed regularly, and critical for basic hygiene and health. Without access to these goods, parents face impossible choices, caregivers manage additional stress, and vulnerable populations endure unnecessary hardship. This gap leaves countless households struggling not just to survive, but to maintain a baseline of dignity and wellness.
S.A.F.E. exists to fill precisely these overlooked gaps, providing tangible support where traditional systems fall short. By distributing essential items and connecting families with community resources, the organization does more than meet immediate physical needs—it reinforces stability in homes that might otherwise fracture under pressure. When families no longer have to sacrifice hygiene, comfort, or health to stretch their budget, they gain breathing room to focus on employment, education, and long-term planning. In turn, these strengthened households contribute to healthier neighborhoods, creating a ripple effect where community wellbeing grows from the ground up.

To receive assistance, you will need to have the following information:
Identification and any supporting documentation must be provided when picking up any orders, no exceptions.
- Clients must provide identification and documentation of the children under their care - birth certificates/budget sheet/Medicaid or SNAP printout
- Proof of government assistance for parents or children.
- State-issued identification is required of all adults.
- Clients may only receive assistance from every 90 days. You are not guaranteed a specific amount of supplies or items requested. Requests are filled on a need basis.
- Children can only receive diapers until 5 years of age. If supplies are still necessary, medical documentation is required.
- Incontinence products are only provided to adults 55+, unless medical documentation is provided.

There are four meaningful ways to support S.A.F.E. and the families they serve. First, you can donate essential items directly: diapers, period products, incontinence supplies, and other necessities go straight to people in need within the community. Second, individuals or businesses can become a community partner, collaborating with the organization to expand their reach and deepen their impact through shared resources and networks. Third, those with time to give can volunteer, contributing whatever skills or talents they have from organizing donations to coordinating deliveries to assisting with administrative work. Fourth, If you or your business, church, school, civic group, healthcare provider, and/or community organization to partner with us by hosting a diaper drive at your location, it can really bolster those donation and really help us all out. Finally, financial contributions offer flexibility, allowing S.A.F.E. to purchase exactly what's needed most at any given moment and keep operations running smoothly. Each pathway, whether through goods, partnership, labor, or money, plays a vital role in helping families thrive and building a stronger, more supportive South Arkansas community.
